yes i got it this last week! IT WAS SOOOO GOOD:) i made all the food things already and am having pancakes for breakfast:) lovin it!! but i still havent gotten the picture book......maybe resend one....?

My beloved family, HOWS ALL YALL DOIN? haha its funny because this last week i have been teaching Elder Tomaz how to talk like a hic and its absolutly hilarious!!:) haha anyways i truly am baffeled that scott had maturacion.....that is so weird......he is such a little kid!! so weird!!!
so cool that brian and kinsie are back!! where are they planning on living? close to home or like far? gotta know becaue imma live with them when i get back;) haha jk so you guys are going to the Sabbatical again? geewiz you guys are really just living the life! it will be weird for me to have to change and adapt to that type of life again haha but going with the Jacksons thats so fun! yeah i knew Brianne. Hung out a couple times, super cool!
so about the dog bite, Elder Tomaz and I and Jaqueline were at the church getting the temple recomend for Jackie and afterwards we were walking back and it was like 930 at night and dark and walking down this dark road when all the sudden a dog jumps up and sticks its head through this gate and bites my arm! it was a German Sheppard and it hurt a little bit but i had shock factor so it wasnt hurting for a while but it was bleeding so i called the nurse of the mission, Hermana Cook and turns out that i am the first person that has had a dog bite since she came out here on her mission(because she is a new missionary like 5 months) so she had no idea what to do so it ended up being a pretty big process and once we figured it all out i have to go up to this doctor 5 times to get rabies shots....the doctors office is like an hour and a half away....but i have to do it for my health ahaha but its nothing big:) Good story for the journal!
Speaking of Jackies temple recomend, this saturday we are taking her to the temple to do the baptisms for her mom and dad and i am SOOO excited for her!! she is so ready for this and it is going to be the greatest experience!!:)
THis last week has been a super good week and i have been really giving my all to the lord and trying with all my heart to be a good example for Elder Tomaz and help him out but its getting really hard because he is struggling with bipolarism. so finally we called the psyciatrist and he has a metting with him and hopefully it will help! but other than that everything is super good!! we have found soo many new investigaters and put a baptism date on Tatiana, so we will see how she progresses! i feel like she will be ready when the day comes!! Loving every second of the mission, the good and the bad its all so good!:)

WHY HELLO!!!!!!
SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO let me just begin with saying I LOVE MY MISSION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So this week i really changed my whole mission. I was teaching my district class and for some reason everyone was so quiet and discouraged and just lame! so something just switched in me and i just became this super outgoing excited nuts person! Like Since that moment i just have had this spark in me and every aspect of the work is just sooooooooo much better and i just love it!! and i know that by me being like this it is helping elder Tomaz not be so stressed and stuff its just overall so much better!!:) i think a big part of all this is i have embraced the principle of forgetting myself and just work. really that is my focus and its changing my whole mission:)
soo i love the pics of the cabin!! that is sooo cool!!! cant wait to actually be on the other side of the pictures!! haha but its going to be sooo sick!!!! and about the picture book, i think you might have sent it to the old wrong adress....because the letter scott sent me just got here and that was sent to the old wrong adress and was part of the last time the office is going to pick up packages from that adress.....so i dont think i will get it.....maybe resend it haha!
wow....i hadnt heard about ron....that is so sad.....his family is in my prayers. I know that must be hard for them....but nothing that god cant help comfort.
sooo about people we are teaching, to be honest when elder silva left i realized that we didnt have any investigaters that were showing real progresss at all so me and elder tomaz just kinda left all them...so we had not one person to teach...so last week we were contacting like mad and are now starting to find new people! so i will keep you updated on them. so the ward members are pretty good! there is a pretty fine line between them from the pepople rich and super poor and a little conflict but for the most part its all good with them!! with Jackie, she got her temple recomend this week!!!! and we are now preparing her names to go to the temple next saturday!!!!!:) im soooooooooo pumped for her!!!!!!!!!!!:)
anyways all is truly INCREDIBLE!!!! and as i always say everyday is getting better and better!!!!:)

soooo i forgot to mention........i got bit by a dog this week....and was at the doctor for like two whole afternoons....it was rough and i have to keep going back every friday to get rabies shots......for five weeks......its a hassle...but im okay!! good storry for the journal;) hahaha
but with this i had to take some money out to pay for the traveling up to the docter so many times, also elder tomaz had his birthday and so i took some money out and threw a little party for him:)

sooooooooooo I am just LOVING this blazing sun;) but for reals, i truly never realized how much i truly loved snow and the cold until i felt this heat!!
Well, yes being a Trainer and District leader is a little stressfull, but nothing that is overpowering my thoughts or effecting my work. Just a lot to have on my plate at once:) one thing funny about being a district leader is that i had this meeting with president and all the other district leaders and everyone was like more than a year in their mission and i just felt liek such a young lad! everyone was asking me how much time i have in the mission and when i told them im in my 4th change they just were soo shocked ha president must have been crazy or something making me DL;) hahaha so my district is super chill, i am with:
Elder Hansen(came with him in the MTC)
Elder Sanz(from argentina and elder Hansen is traingin him too)
Hermana Tingey(from Logan,UT and have been with her since i got here)
Hermana Herrera(from California and she is a super sarcastic funny person haha)
and obviously last but not least my comp Elder Tomaz from Brazil, he just had his birthday last week and i threw a party for him with a member which was good for him. Its pretty hard with him because he is really struggling with adapting to the life of a missionary and is someone who relys on the approval of other people, like he keeps trying to check his facebook to see who is writing him messages and is just always thinking about his friends and what they would be doing ha. but other than that, its great!!! He is a super good teacher and is super sensitive and shows his love for the people really easily. And he has all these object lessons to teach the lessons which is cool!! but he is smart aswell, so he speaks english super good, spanish super good and obviously portuguese. we talk a lot in english so he can better his english. He comes from a family where his mom and sister are members but have been inactive for 4 years so he is pretty much the only member in his family. He is a gymnest and can do some crazy flips and gymnest stuff haha but he doesnt like to play soccer which is a little hard because i just love playing but its all good! not everyone is the same:)
This week we changes apartments to live with the other elders from our ward, and they are in my district so doing divisions will be sooo much easier ha. the new apartment is in the heart of the ghetto part of our ward called "Las Chubis" because the houses are all different colors like Chubis(M&Ms) Its better than living with the other elders that were pretty disobedient! haha
Wow you guys are just enjoying the cabin arent you! you guys may aswell live up there!!!!! hahaha i would love to see some pics of it all done:) Oh and how cool that brian and kinsie are moving back!!! It was soooo lame that they lived so far away! i didnt get the time i wanted to chill and hang with them before the mission but i guess it will just have to wait till afterwards haha hopefully they can find a house so i could maybe move in with them afterwards;) haha
How cool that you saw SCOOTER! so cool that he is married, weird to see these people that i knew when they were little frieds of brians getting married!! oh and Codys home! i give it 6 months till he is engaged;) gotta keep up that trend or no??;) haha
As always, i am doing absolutely FFANNNTASTTICCC!!! i trully love the mission, i love the people, i love the work, i love just everything about the mission. jYeah obviously there are hard times and its stressful but i am growing and finding out things about me that i LOVE!! i am becoming who i know i need to be.

SOOOOO hopefully that package will get to me in the near future! so i still havent got the picture book ha but dont order a new one, it will eventruallyl get here:)
woah! that story about rachael driving up is nuts!! good thing sydney was there or that would have been bad....hahah im glad that all ended up well:) hey so about the cabin, i would love to see the pics of it finished!
so about the pictures in my locker ahha so yeah the one with the two guys is a funny story ahha i took a photography class and they were in my class and we had to take some pictures and edit them and turn them in and that was one of the only portrait pictures i had taken and it was funny so that was my homework asignment that got me extra credit because the teacher thought it was hilarious:) haha
we had changes this week........Elder silva left me:( hahah he got changed to a super ghetto area and will have some funny stories haha but now i am training Elder Tomaz from brazil and also i was called to be a District Leader. Kinda a lot of responsability at one time but i know i will be able to handle it! Its funny because in my district is some people that have more than a year and 4 months and then the other is here the same time as me...WEIRD! but i am loving it so much!!!:)
short but sweet this week! got a lot going on in my mind so its a little hard to focus so next week i will write a better letter:)

Hola mi amado Familia,
So First of all, Wow cant believe everyone is getting their mission calls!! its weird to think that in 2 months it will be a year since i opened my call!! The time is just FLYING by!!! Congrats to Abigail, isnt that the same mission that Tanner Larsen went to?? She just needs to realize that her mission was picked in the pre existance like you said, i will be praying for her that she will come to learn that for herself! tell her to write me so i can congragualte her and give her some tips:)
OHHHHHh the good ol' super bowl!! i was sitting in church yesterday and one of the members came up and told me that the super bowl was that day and i was so bumbed that i couldnt watch it!! but today our neighbor came over and showed me some video of a fight that went down between the seahawks and patriots that was nuts!!!! hahaha i will just have to rewatch the game in two years:( hahaa i was truly rooting for the seahawks....
oh and i still havent recieved the picture book ha maybe wait just one more week, because we get mail on tuesdays so just give it one more chance:)
alrighty then, so as for me down here.....this last week was a little nuts......so on tuesday morning elder silva and i were studying and then president called us....elder silva answered the phone and he said he wanted to talk to me....(i was trippin!!!! thinkin why on earth would he be calling me) and he tells me that a new missionary is coming in that day and he wants that i train him with the help of elder silva until the end of this transfer (February 9) haha so right now we are in a trio with our new comp Elder Tomaz, he is from Brazil aswell and is really smart! the reason that he got here early is because his spanish got good enough in the CCM that they told him he was ready 2 weeks early haha he also speaks pretty good english!!!! So this last week has been busy trying to train him and he is struggling with some rules and being homesick but he will get through it. About him, he was a gymnist in Sao Pablo and was the Number 1 gymnist in the massive city of sao pablo! hes a little femy but its whatever haha super interesting!! The sad part of all of this is that president told us that this next change, next week, forsure either elder Silva or I are going to get changed......So next week forsure i will either have a new comp in a new sector or will be still here with Elder Tomaz. I am thinking i wont change because president kinda asked me directly if i would train him, but we will just see!!!
A funny thing that happened to day is that we were just about to leave the apartment to go to a goodbye lunch for Elder Gowdy when Hna Labbe told us that our sewage is leaking all in her yard.....so we had to call the mission and they sent a guy over after lunch and he told us that they wont be able to fix it until tomorrow at the soonest so we cant use the bathroom or shower today or tomorrow so we are having to have a little sleep over in the other pension of elders that is soooo far away from our sector.......itll just be another funny story for the journal hahaah:)
about the dogs,, so there isnt as many as there were in conceptcion but they are still everywhere.....they are pretty vicious ha its funny because we have this investigator that never had a dog then one day had one and i asked where he got it and he told us he just found it in the street haha
so that is pretty much my week!!! Still loving it down here, and am learning so much while training Elder Tomaz but its also super hard because he doesnt like being told what to do but i know its a challenge that i can handle and if anyone can help him i have been trusted to do it haha
