October 6, 2015

This week was killer!! we had sooo much to do and a lot of miracles happened, one that was incredible was today, so last night our bishop called us and asked us if we could stop by a references house and give them a blessing because he has cancer, so we went today and as we were visiting them things got really spiritual and the spirit was really strong, i felt this pure love of christ for theis poor man who is suffering so much from cancer...he then asked me to give him the blessing and so i did and as i was talking the spirit just took complete control and i dont even remember what i had said to him but afterwards he was just smiling and we went to talk with his wife and his daughter and looked back and he was sound asleep:) then his daughter asked us if there was somehting we could do to help her feel more love of christ and not be worried, we explained the blessing of counsel and she then asked me to give her a blessing, at this moment i was still flying high in the spirit from the first blessing and when i started this blessing it just shot through the roof the spirit and i truly felt the sadness of her soul and as the spirit worked through me i felt her sadness be comforted and afterwards she was bawling and then explained to us that she was feeling so good now and i just knew that she was going to be okay, and she was so much happier after then after the wife saw how the blessing changed her she asked for one too and it was sooo spiritual aswell and they both felt the spirit so strong and i just testified to them of the importance of their faith and that truly the lord loves them and hasnt forgotten them in their afliction. I love to see the lord working through me to work miracles:)

I love you.

I love the mission.

First off, love the pics:) looks like brians and kinsies house is great, and that all is goin well in the family:)

Secondly, wowowowowo thats news that yoour looking at moving! that is going to be interesting, ecspecially living in the same ward! haha but cool:)

Goodjob scott with football, sooner or later he is going to be better than me!! but never will be as big as me;)

But as for this week its been pretty good! we have seen lots of miracles in our sector, we have found some families that have truly been prepared by the lord and are so ready to come to the fold. I have been studying this week about how the lord and how the prophets have been prepared from the begining and how when they were young they still commited errors and were of little faith at times, and i realized that its okay that i have not been perfect, and i dont have to ever get to that level.but all i need to do is strive to be the best i can, and be "quick to repent" to be able to complete with the divine potential the lord has for us. I love the gospel. its the best, and gives us the hope and joy and peace of mind in all that we need:)

We did a Zone activity, today (first one in the mission with elderes and hermanas) it was soo cool! it turned out better than we elder Jasse and i had planned:)

I love you all

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO as i would imagine you all were watching the news seeing that there was a crazy earthquake........i lost a leg.....hahaha no but it really was nuts! luckily we were in the chapel for a meeting then all of the sudden it started and lasted for at least 2 minutes and it was strong! we were calm becasue the church is super safe but when we left to the street to see from outside it was nuts the roads were like spaghetti and everyone was running around crying and screaming "get to the mormon church!" haha in the moments when all seems to be coming to an end is when people realize where the truth is;) haha but it was a really neat experience! and the cool part is that since that day there are at least 5 earthquakes a day (smaller, but still strong) its kinda fun to be teaching a lesson or having lunch with someone when alof the sudden everyting is shaking haha so cool:) but all is good no worries:)

Rachael sounds like shes just enjoying so much the dating life, hopefully she isnt becomeing obsessed with it! but really thats supper weird that she is dating...hahah but i guess its the life now!! now that she is a junior!!!! hahahah but thats sweet:)

Scott looks sooo good playing football! awww how i miss that sport, but when i get back i will skool anyone in soccer:) but good how he is doing great in school:)

Dad, oh poor dad just trying to fill his time ahah but  a lesson i learned from dad but didnt realize it before the mission is that there is always time, always time to get done what needs to get done, time for the family, work, church callings, there is always time. we just need to know how to manage it:) i learned from the master;)

Stephanies got a dog, what a surprise!;) haha it was just a matter of time before she bought one, i knew it. oh and HAPPY BIRTHDAY STEPH! i forgot to send an email but i love you and am so grateful for your example to me:)

Brian, HAPPY BIRTHDAY also! your are soo old now;) but that is so cool that *kinsie* (not Kensie) got to visit him! but i didnt know that they were living apart? is it because she is getting the house ready or?? i would love to see pics:)

So supuestemente its getting warmer.....but....its like utah right now, in the mornings its really cold then at noon is blazing hot then in the night its freexing cold again haha but its all good:) its funny because the sector that im in is one that is the coldest of colds of the mission and also the hottest of hots so everyday is just a rollercoaster:)

but hey about the big newssss so first of i was with a new missoinary that got here last week for a day while he waited for chagnes and his name is Elder Mires from Peru and it was a solid day:) he will do great things, and its funny because he now is in my zone! so i will have the chance to do Exchanges with him:) itll be great:)

Then the reall big news is that my new companion is.......ANOTHER BRAZILIAN!!!!!!!! hahaha no just kidding he is an Argentinian, his name is Elder Jasse he has a year and a half in the mission. He is a sweet guy, we get along super well, we both have really the same personalities where we truly have our personal expectacions high and are always striving to improve and be better. we are getting lots of work done and truyly changing everything:)

Love  you all and thanks for everything:))

This last week we visited an old investigater of Elder Ferreira to seee if he would progress now and as we visited him he shared with us that in the time that we hadnt visited him he got married and now feels ready to be baptised! so he now accepted the date of the 27th of september, and truly we aree so excited for him, he has given evertyghing up liek drugs and alcohol because he knows the church is true. sooo great:)

Now that im in one of the most "flaite(thug)" areas in the mission, i am learning their Language. hahaah its funny because it literally is a completely different language of just sayings and stuff. but its super funny ahah. But as for this week, wow it passed by sooo fast!! i cannot belive how fast it trully is passing by, like this is the last 5 days of my companion in his mision.....i have a month and a half in this new sector wowoowow but this week we found some new people to teach that truly are prepared. well first of all we had our Zone class that we taught and in that the topic we chose to talk about is the Faith in the Conversion. and the reason is because the work in the Zone has slown down a ton....so we felt that the zone is lacking a lot of faith...and we decided to do all we can to boost their faith and as part of the class we talked aobut how the lord will put people in our path if we are doing all we need to do, and that same day we went to visit a recent convert, but there wasnt a man in the house so we couldnt go in but we asked her to invite her neighbor and sso she did and he accepeted! we taught him and he trulyis prepared, his name is Matias. HE is 16 years old and his family is all Evangelic and as we talked and got to know him he expressed to us that he has never been baptized and doesnt feel the need to do it (its funny because we didtn talk at all about baptism but he just randomly said that) and so we explained the doctrine and he sat there in just awe, and said now he truly understands great, and so i extended the invitacion to be baptized when he recieves his testimony of the gospel and he accepted and was super excited! he is so great, and this experience strenglthened my testimony so much on how people truly are prepared and the lord works miracles everyday. we jsut need to trust in him and work work work and he will make things happen:)

I love this work, i love seeing all the blessings of the gospel.

I love you all!
